PRICING:
Because it is too early to offer a confirmed price for this tour, we are estimating the price to be approximately $3,995
per person, based on rates for 2008. An increase of approximately 10% could be possible for 2009. To hold space on this
once-in-a-lifetime tour, we are asking interested participants to complete and mail the enclosed form with $50, payable to
MTS Travel.
When pricing and arrangements are confirmed, you will receive a full brochure with complete, detailed itinerary. At
that time you may choose to send an additional $250 per person to confirm your tour participation, or you may request
that your $50 be refunded in full.

Friday, April 17
Departure
Depart Philadelphia for Cairo.
Saturday, April 18
Cairo
Arrive Cairo in the evening and transfer to the hotel. Overnight
in Cairo at the Pyramids Park Intercontinental Hotel.
Sunday, April 19
Cairo
Visit the Egyptian Museum, Abu Serga (Church of St. Sergius
and Bacchus), the Hanging Church, the Church of Holy Virgin in
Babylon, and Church of Harat Zuwaila, with Mass at one of these
churches. Visit the Khan al Khalili Bazaar. Overnight in Cairo.
Monday, April 20
Giza
Travel to Memphis, Sakkara, see the Pyramids of Giza, and
the famous Sphinx. Celebrate Mass at St. Mary and St. Maurice
Church, at Omrania, Giza. After dinner attend the Sound and Light
Show at the Great Pyramids. Overnight in Cairo.
Tuesday, April 21
Suez Canal / Sinai
Travel along the Suez Canal, and view possible locations for
the parting of the waters. Visit the Church of St. Cosmos. Overnight
at New Morgenland Village.
Wednesday, April 22
Mt. Sinai
Climb Mount Sinai to see the sun rise. Enjoy a buffet breakfast,
and visit St. Catherine Monastery for Mass. Take a speed
ferry from Nuweiba to Aqaba. Overnight at the Petra Panorama
Hotel.
Thursday, April 23
Petra
See the Springs of Moses, tour Petra with Mass at Petra
Church and see Aaron’s Tomb. Experience Petra by Night. Overnight
at Petra Panorama.
Friday, April 24
Bethany Beyond the Jordan
Visit Machaerus*, Madaba, Mt. Nebo* (Mass), and Bethany
Beyond the Jordan*. Overnight at the Amman Grand Palace.

Saturday, April 25
Amman
Visit Jerash, enjoy the exciting program depicting Roman
games with RACE. Travel to Anjara* with Mass at Our Lady of the
Mountain Church. See Tell Mar Elias* with lunch at a restaurant
on the Jabbok River. Participate in an Amman city tour including
the Citadel, the Roman Theater, and Wild Jordan. Dinner at Kan
Zaman. Overnight at Amman Grand Palace.
Sunday, April 26
Jericho
Cross Allenby Bridge from Jordan to Jericho, where we will
celebrate Mass. Continue to Beit Shean. Overnight at Kibbutz
Ma’agan.
Monday, April 27
Capernaum
Enjoy a morning boat ride on the Sea of Galilee. Visit Capernaum,
the Mt. of Beatitudes (Mass, and extra time for lunch with
Sisters), the Church of the Loaves and Fishes, and the Church of
Primacy of St. Peter. Overnight at Ma’agan.
Tuesday, April 28
Nazareth
Visit Cana and the Church of Annunciation in Nazareth for
Mass, continue to Megiddo, Mt. Carmel, Caesarea Maritima, and
Jerusalem. Overnight at the Ambassador Hotel.
Wednesday, April 29
Jerusalem
Begin the day at the Mt. of Olives, follow the Palm Sunday
route, visit Dominus Flevit, Gethsemane (Mass), the Southern
Steps, the Temple Mount, the Western Wall, St. Peter in Gallicantu,
and the Upper Room. Travel to Bethlehem and see the
Shepherds’ Fields and the Church of the Nativity. Overnight at the
Ambassador.
Thursday, April 30
Dead Sea Area / Jerusalem
Mass today at Bethany. Visit Qumran, enjoy a Dead Sea
Swim, and a visit Masada. Return to Jerusalem to visit the Shrine
of the Book and see the Holyland Model of Jerusalem. Overnight
at the Ambassador.
Friday, May 1
Jerusalem
Visit the Pools of Bethesda, St. Anne’s Church, the Via
Dolorosa (stop at each Station to pray), and the Church of Holy
Sepulchre for Mass. The remainder of day is free. Enjoy a Middle
Eastern farewell dinner at Ambassador. Depart for home.
Saturday, May 2
Arrive USA
Arrive in Philadelphia today.
