ITINERARY:
Saturday, September 20: New York
Depart this morning by motorcoach from Souderton
to New York pier where you will board the luxurious cruise
ship Carnival Victory. The rustic beauty and picturesque
ports of New England and Canada await you. Sail at 4 p.m.
Sunday, September 21: Boston, Massachusetts
This afternoon you arrive in Boston at 3 p.m. There are
many fascinating attractions in this state capital. Along the
city’s three-mile Freedom Trail are such historical treasures
as Paul Revere’s House, King’s Chapel, the Bunker Hill
Monument and the U.S.S. Constitution. Also, visit the Old
North Church which is in the very heart of Boston’s famous
North End. In the Back Bay section, you’ll want to visit
Beacon Hill, the Boston Common, and the chic boutiques
and sidewalk cafes of Newbury Street. Sail at 10 p.m.
Monday, September 22: Portland, Maine
We arrive 8 a.m. You’ll have a full day to explore this
thriving and historic waterfront city. Among its most notable
features are cobblestone streets, red-brick architecture,
the Portland Museum of Art, and its busy harbor. A short
distance away is Kennebunkport, a quaint seaport on the
rocky cost of Maine, whose famous residents include the
Bush family. Sail at 6 p.m.
Tuesday, September 23: St. John, Nova Scotia
We arrive 8 a.m. Marvel at the incredible beauty of the
Bay of Fundy. This arm of the Atlantic has the highest tides
in the world and a natural phenomen called Reversing
Falls. Sail at 8 p.m.
Wednesday, September 24: At Sea
The day is yours. Carnival Victory has an outdoor
entertainment area that’s equal to three football fields in
length. There are four pools, inlcuding a 214-foot spiral
waterslide. Feel free to do as much or as little shipboard
activities as you choose.
Thursday, September 25: Halifax, Nova Scotia
Arrive 9:30 am. Nova Scotia’s capital will impress you
with its architecture, historic sights, and charming parks
and gardens. Another attraction is the Maritime Museum
of the Atlantic, which has many Titanic artifacts. You’ll also
want to visit picturesque Peggy’s Cove, one of Canada’s
most photographed fishing villages. Sail at 6 pm.
Friday, September 26: At Sea
This is your last day on board the Victory. Enjoy the
endless activities of shipboard life.
Saturday, September 27: New York
After breakfast you will board your awaiting motorcoach
for return to Souderton.
