| Have Documents, Will Travel |
The Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative is now in its final stages. Currently, all U.S. citizens traveling by air outside the U.S. must have a valid passport to re-enter the United States. Beginning June 1, 2009, a passport, passport card or a WHTI compliant document will be required for all land and sea re-entries. Please refer to www.travel.state.gov for a list of the accepted documents.
The visa waiver program for non-U.S. citizen visitors to the United States has been expanded to include over 35 countries. These reciprocal agreements allow U.S. citizens short stays in the participating countries without a visa, as well. For more information see www.travel.state.gov, and click on Visa Waiver Program.
All non-South African passport holders are required to have at least one entirely blank (unstamped) visa page in their passport each time they enter South Africa. These pages are in addition to the Endorsement/Amendment pages that are found at the back of the passport. South African government regulations prohibit airlines from boarding passengers without the required blank visa page.

The Recession's Rare Opportunities |
 |
Opportunities in a recession? Sounds crazy, huh?
With the downturn in overall consumer spending hotel occupancy, air passenger loads, and filled cruise berths are at all time lows. So what's the opportunity in all this negativity? Prices for hotels, cruises, air, and tours are historically affordable.
Yes, it's true, we are all watching every dollar. Nearly everyone is limiting their discretionary spending. We're saving for those things that have to be replaced from time to time; appliances, furniture, even a car. But consider this-- do you even remember the sofa you had before this one? Do you remember your last family vacation? Church mission trip? I bet you remember the trips very well and even bring the memories to mind every now and then.
There are rare opportunities in travel right now. Let the experts at MTS TRAVEL show you how far your carefully guarded dollars can go in today's travel market. Whether it is a cruise for the family, or a mission trip to an orphanage, MTS TRAVEL can help you purchase a "trip to remember" and still have enough left over for a new dishwasher.
