MTS TRAVEL is Proud to Present MTS TRAVEL-Berrien Springs, Michigan

Our newest office opened on March 6, 2006. This office had formerly been owned and operated by the name of A Traveler’s Choice since 1976. The owner originally initiated discussions with MTS TRAVEL when she decided, for personal reasons, to retire and leave the travel business. She was concerned that her loyal clientele, as well as her valuable employees, would continue to be well taken care of and nurtured.

MTS TRAVEL is honored to have been chosen to continue the fulfillment of the owner’s past history of excellent attention and service.

The Berrien Springs office is staffed by Travel Consultants Barb Sprung and Jacki Fox. They make a great team and say that ..

    Be Prepared

"Be Prepared," the motto of the Boy Scouts of America, is a good rule of thumb for all travelers.

Would you know what to do in case of an emergency while traveling internationally? What is an emergency?

    • Replacing a lost passport
    • Losing all your money
    • Need of finding medical assistance
    • An emergency at home
    • Death of an American abroad
    • A disaster or evacuation

These are a few of the big and little emergencies you can face during international travel. A helpful resource is a pamphlet offered by the US Consuls of the American Embassies Overseas; Department of State Publication 10176. Order a copy today online at http://travel.state.gov/index.html. You will find a wealth of information including registering with an embassy, medical care, and other services available for US citizens traveling abroad. The US Embassies or consular offices are there to help you.

A wise investment for many emergency situations is travel insurance. This can cost as little as $5.00 a day for peace of mind, knowing that you will receive quality medical care, evacuation, and more without the financial setback an uninsured medical situation could cause. There are many travel insurance programs available. MTS TRAVEL recommends Travelex Insurance-your Travel Consultant will be happy to send you information when you book your travel with us. MTS TRAVEL also will supply you with a 24-hour emergency number in the event you need to change your travel plans. You are never alone when you work with an experienced Travel Consultant from MTS TRAVEL!

Be sure to get the required vaccinations before you travel. Your doctor can help you with needed or recommended immunizations or vaccinations. Pack a medical kit for small inconveniences as a safeguard that you can take with you. Your doctor may give you a prescription for an antibiotic for different infections or illnesses. Neosporin, ibuprofen and Imodium are also items to include. Be Prepared!
