(Ephrata, PA - May 7, 2001)   As part of its expanding customer relations and product development strategy, MTS has appointed Todd Jarvis of Lititz (Lancaster County), Pennsylvania, as its new Vice President of Marketing, effective May 21. Todd comes to MTS from Armstrong World Industries where he has spent the past 11 years in progressively responsible marketing positions. Todd began his career with Armstrong as a marketing representative in their Lancaster, PA, corporate headquarters, moving on to marketing positions in Seattle, WA and San Francisco, CA. In 1995 he became Market Development Manager in Korea. During his three years there he was promoted to Regional Manager followed by Deputy General Manager, Korea, and then Manager of Sales and Marketing for Korea and China. Todd returned to Armstrong headquarters in Lancaster in 1998. Todd earned a B.A. in International Business at Grove City College in Grove City, PA, where he was President of the International Business and Marketing Association. He spent one of his college years at the Universite Paul Valery in Montpellier, France, studying marketing, history and French culture all in the French language. He is widely traveled, having visited all 50 states, 9 Canadian provinces and 35 countries. He is fluent in French and conversational Korean.
