MTS TRAVEL grows to 12 offices nationwide with Michigan acquisition

EPHRATA, PA, August 1, 2005 -- MTS TRAVEL announced today that the company has purchased the assets of Adventure Travel and Ambassador Tours, both located in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Bill Griffin, owner and president of Adventure and Ambassador, founded the former in 1972 as a full service travel agency serving Southwestern Michigan. Ambassador Tours has a national reputation for group travel, including custom tours, specializing in choirs, orchestras and jazz ensembles. MTS TRAVEL will retain all 23 employees, including Griffin, who has made a multi-year commitment to the Kalamazoo operation. "In the dynamic travel business, consolidation makes sense," said Griffin." MTS TRAVEL's President and CEO Jim Buddendorf, said that Adventure and Ambassador are an "ideal fit" into its national strategy.
