Tour Features and Conditions

Please read all Tour Features and Conditions carefully. Payment of tour deposit constitutes acceptance of these conditions.

Air Transportation: Air transportation is restricted to the services of any IATAN carrier, in economy class based on nonrefundable fare. Reservations and ticketing must be made not later than 30 days prior to departure, after which it is nonrefundable if cancelled for any reason. Tour price includes all current airline taxes, which are subject to change until ticketed. Tour participants are responsible for any increase in airline taxes or fuel surcharges.

Accommodations: Based on two persons sharing a room with private facilities, including service charges and taxes. Single rooms are subject to availability at an additional charge. If a passenger cannot supply a roommate and MTS is unable to do so, the passenger is responsible for the supplemental charge.

Meals: In-flight meals and snacks are served according to airline policy. Full buffet breakfast and dinner will be provided daily. Lunches during land tours will be at participant’s own expense. Beverages with lunches and dinners are not included. All meals available on board our ship.

Transfers and Baggage: Scheduled transfers between airports and hotels upon arrival and departure in Athens are included. Porterage at hotel of one medium-sized suitcase per person is included. The suitcase should not exceed 62 dimensional inches (length plus width plus height) nor exceed weight restrictions according to current airline policy. In addition, a flight bag or overnight case may be taken, which should be handled by the passenger at all times.

Sightseeing and Entrance Fees: All touring, as indicated in itinerary, is included in the cruise package price, using private motorcoach or other conveyance, with local guides where necessary. Entrance fees are included to sites visited.

Tips and Taxes: Taxes on accommodation and services are included. Tips to guides, drivers, hotel and cruise staff are not included. Tips for personal services are not included and are at tour member’s own expense.

Not Included: Passport fee, insurance, lunches on land tours, beverages with lunches and dinners, and expenses of a purely personal nature are not included. Transportation from your home to one of the designated international airports and vice versa is not included.

Deposit and Payment: Reservations will be secured upon receipt of payment of a $500 per person deposit. Space is limited. Early deposits will receive priority cabin assignments. Because this is a charter cruise, you will be notified of your actual cabin number 2–3 weeks prior to travel. You will be invoiced for final payment due.

Insurance: MTS Travel offers and recommends cancellation/ interruption insurance for recoverable land and air expenses. Information on travel insurance will be provided upon receipt of your deposit or upon request prior to registration. Insurance must be purchased within 21 days of our receipt of your deposit for full coverage.

A valid passport is required. If you do not have a passport, you should apply for one immediately. A visa for Greece or Turkey is not required for U.S. citizens on this cruise. Non-US citizens are responsible for proper documentation. If you now have a passport, please verify that it is valid until June, 2007.

Speakers: All speakers are confirmed and scheduled to travel on this cruise. If a speaker is unable to participate due to unforeseen circumstances, an attempt will be made to schedule a comparable speaker. MTS TRAVEL cannot accept cancellations or make any pricing adjustments due to speaker change. Refunds will not be made except for specified reasons listed in travel insurance documents.

All rates and fares are based on current information and are subject to change. Rates are based on a minimum of 25 persons traveling. Charges may be incurred for individual deviations or special requests apart from the group itinerary.

The itinerary as outlined is an indication of sequence and sites to be included in the tour program. However, the tour operator reserves the right to alter or change the itinerary and/or the sites included should it be deemed necessary due to local conditions, time restrictions, or other circumstances.
